FIVE BEST NOVELS of AGATHA CHRISTIE

Haloha guys welcome back to NUTCRACKER, yes that is my blog’s name, btw thanks a lot for visiting my blog again and this is the second post made by me.

As my promise in this second post I will be trying to use full of English Language (karena ada waktu juga buat nulis hehe, gak apa lah ada di selipin b.indonesia ya biar blognya jadi mudah di mengerti jg)

Well I want to ask you some questions first.. Do you like reading? If your answer is “yes I do”, it means we have the same hobby and the other question is, What kind of text do you like to read? (jawab di comment ya)

If you ask to me the second question, I prefer a novel especially mysterious or detective novels that I have told you before in my first post. ( Jd kalau belum baca post yg pertama, please di baca ya guys) So, because I am in love with that kind of text, it is impossible if I do not know something about the author namely Agatha Christie. This is the picture of her.

Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie that we know as Agatha Christie was born in 15 September 1890 and died in 12 January 1976. She is an English crime novelist, short story writer and playwright.

She also best known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections and 6 romances. If you read her novels about detective you will find her fictional detectives namely Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple (kalau Conan Doyle tokoh fiksinya adalah sherlock holmes while Agatha punya poirot dan marple, banyak karyanya udah di film kan loh salah satunya adalah Murder on the Orient Express) for the further more about her you can search in wikipedia.

Honestly I have read some novels of Agatha Christie. For my evidence to proof my words, here is the picture from my laptop. So you will know I’m not lying. (Ini novel yang udah di baca semua, dan yang belum di baca masih tersimpan mendem di laptop because udah gak ada waktu lagi untuk baca novel karena pagenya gak main2 lho, page terbanyak di novel yg ada di bawah adalah 390 pages)

So from the novels above, I want to share to you some recommendation if you want to start read the novel by Agatha Christie. I will give you five best novels of her depend on me. Here you are:

      1.      And Then There Were None (1939)

The story start from ten people are invited to an island in a big house for the weekend. Although they all harbor a secret, they remain unsuspecting until they began to die, one by one, until eventually there are none. (Jadi setelah 10 orang itu di undang ke suatu pulau oleh seorang jutawan misterius dengan inisial U.N.O mereka di isolasi di pulau tsb, kemudian seiring berjalannya waktu mereka di bunuh satu persatu sampai semuanya terbunuh dan tidak ada lagi yang tersisa.) But the police said that there is no eleven person that might be the murder. So who is the murder? If you want to know (harus baca sampai habis ya)

2.      Murder on the Orient Express (1934)

Mr. Poirot has a role in this novel, one night in the Orient Express (sebuah kereta mewah) stops at night because blocked by the snowdrifts. In the next day one of the passenger died (di bunuh dengan sebelas tusukan di dalam ruangannya dan terkunci dari dalam) In the end Mr. Poirot solve that mysterious. (Pembunuhnya adalah salah satu penumpang kereta? Seseorang dari luar kereta? Atau ada penumpang gelap di kereta tsb? Nih saya kasih bocoran, ada satu kalimat yang mana itu adalah clue yang di sebut oleh friend of Mr. Poirot tentang pembunuhnya) Happy read.

      3.      Crooked House (1949)

      

It’s amazing novel I think (bahkan Agatha sendiri dalam penghantarnya menyebutkan ini salah satu favoritnya)

“ Practically everybody has liked Crooked House, so I’m justified in my own belief that it is one of my best”

It’s all begin with The Leonides, they are Yunani’s family three generation lived in Crooked House. Their grandfather namely Aristide is the successful person but his childrens do not successful as him (Jadi anak-anak kakek aristide itu adalah orang yang payah bahkan generasi ketiga mengecewakan karena secara pisik dan mental tidak bisa di katakana sehat) then the Aristide murdered continue by another member of family. But at the last the diary of someone reveal the murder. (Pasti kalian gak akan nyangka itu adalah pembunuhnya, because aku pun tertipu dan setelah baca novel ini sampai habis aku mengklaim bahwa Agatha sungguh orang yang jenius)

       4.      The Murder of Roger Ackroyd (1926)

Shock and feel tricked! (Inilah kata yang tepat untuk novel yang satu ini) Mr. Poirot also has a role in this novel, Mrs. Ferrars poison his husband but nobody knows except  one person until she end her life and leave a letter for Roger Ackroyd, but after that Roger Ackroyd  murdered by someone again. (Jadi ada perselingkuhan antara Mrs. Ferrars dan roger, tetapi mengapa keduanya dibunuh dan oleh siapa? Mr. Poirotlah yang mengetahuinya)

      5.      The ABC Murder (1336)

(Pembunuhan berantai) that’s the right words for express this novel. Someone murdered from Alice Ascher, Betty Barnard, until Charmichael Clarke. Can he stopped the ABC killer before he reaches D? How many readers are as clever as Mr. Poirot? (Coba baca dan cari tahu apakah kalian sepintar Mr. Poirot, uji analisamu di sini) This Novel has so many surprise and has the unestimate ending.

Note: Jangan karna aku buat hanya 5 kalian make a conclution that the other’s not interesting okey, selebihnya juga gak kalah menarik kok dan pasti gak bakalan bisa ketebak siapa pembunuhnya. Oce deh enough, see yaaa… Jangan bosan2 mampir ya.
